How to Get Involved

Our PTA thrives because of our awesome Hunter families! If you only have a few minutes a month to offer, or you’d like to get involved with long-term projects, we could use your help. Not sure where to start? We offer a variety of opportunities, from helping during the school day, pitching in at one-time events, or supporting ongoing projects in ways that fit your schedule. And don’t worry—helping out doesn’t have to mean spending money. Your time, skills, and ideas are what make a difference for our Hunter students and community.

  • Our grade level Facebook groups are a great resource for befriending other families, hearing about upcoming school events, or asking questions. We also have a Facebook group for our North Raleigh and Wake Forest families!

  • Committees are where the bulk of our PTA work gets done! Committees are open to everyone, and there is no time requirement to join. We understand life is busy, so all we ask is that you join meetings when you can. Your ideas and input can help shape projects and initiatives that directly benefit the Hunter community. Your voice is important, and we’d love to have you involved. Click here for a description of committees and subcommittees, as well as contact info for the chairs!
